Naming Ceremony: A Naming ceremony is the way we can formally welcome a new member of the family. The ceremony gives you the opportunity to express gratitude for the safe arrival of a child and express your wishes for the baby’s future. It is also a celebration of the miracle of life. A naming Ceremony is held in recognition of the importance of making special the events in our lives, to witness the giving of a name. It is a wonderful way to acknowledge the Parents, Grandparents, Great Grandparents and Godparents (also know as mentors) and the important role they play in a child’s life. And it is in a ceremony like this that they can honour their commitment and support to the well being of the child’s journey through life. |
