"Connecting with a Celebrant who really cares"

I personally enjoy sharing with couples all the wonderful options and ideas they can have in their ceremony. Many couples I meet have been married before and have children whom they want to include in the ceremony. Or there may be loved ones absent from the day whom you want to remember and honour in this special moment. There are so many ways we can do this, and we can talk about how to incorporate these feelings into the day.

i.e. Lighting a candle, displaying some photos, saying some special words.

Spending those first few hours together with a couple is vital in the preparation of a ceremony which is truly unique and fulfilling for them. Many couples I meet are from different cultural and religious back grounds and understandably want to have something symbolic in the ceremony to recognize this.

There are many beautiful rituals that we can also incorporate into the ceremony which makes it unique. For example, the exchange of a gift (rose), the warming of the wedding rings by all the guests, or hand fasting, also known as the “lovers knot”, an ancient Celtic tradition where the bride and groom’s hands are bound together while saying their vows, and so many more ....
